Carl Jung was a Swiss psychiatrist who studied patterns of behavior so that people could know themselves and others . His 1921 book Psychological Types was instrumental in this regard.
Behavior Types Measurement Tool*
*Known as the Big-5 Typology or the five predominant factors in human behavior. Since its creation in 1961 by psychologists Ernest Tupes and Raymond Christal , several versions of these types have emerged.
This tool is in the public domain according to the Oregon Research Institute , from my free translation into Portuguese. Note that there is a pre-defined number in the test based on the statistics carried out with a certain number of people from which each person makes their count to know their final result.
This tool can help you understand why we act in a certain way and how our personality is structured. We all have the 5 dimensions to a degree that varies according to the situation we are experiencing and our age. All factors have positive and negative aspects. No factor is better than the other. They are different ways of acting.
